    Several users have reported that using AD Users and Computers snap in is slow while connected through Twingate. We are currently investigating the root cause of this slowness and how it relates with the Twingate client.

     

    Resolution

    • For many of our users, simply bypassing DNS by connecting to ADUC via IP with the following command resolves the slowness for them.
      dsa.msc /server="domain controller IP"

      All customer environments are unique and for those who the above does not solve the slowness we recommend either RDP'ing into a jumpbox that is on premise or directly to the AD server to perform any AD changes.
