We understand that in certain scenarios you may have questions about some aspects surrounding the information security of Twingate and the Twingate network.

We recommend you visit our Security Center where we outline a number of things specific to this arena, including People Security, Data Protection & Access Control, Vendor Management, Infrastructure Security, Product Security, and Product Architecture.

Additionally, as part of regulatory audits undergone by our customers, we are frequently asked what encryption configuration/ciphers are in place on our network.

While this list can and will likely change in line with NIST Guidelines, as of the current revision, we currently support both TLS 1.2 and 1.3, and the following ciphers:

    • TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256
    • TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256
    • TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
    • TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
    • TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384
    • TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384

In the event you have additional questions regarding security that are not covered in the Security Center or in this article, we recommend you contact your Twingate Customer Success Manager.
