In this article:

On Windows, the Twingate Client uses a local service (this is because the Windows Twingate Client allows for Start Before Logon). The service needs to be enabled and running for the twingate Client to function properly.

Go to the list of services. If you do not know how to get there, in a CMD window, enter the following command:

    services.msc

Go down the list and look for a service called Twingate Service rc:

Make sure the service is in Running status, if it is not, start it.

If you cannot locate the Twingate Service rc service, you should reinstall the Twingate Client. Take a look at the Event Viewer and the Twingate Client logs for further troubleshooting.
