    We pride ourselves on Twingate being easy to set up and get going with, but as with any technical product, there are any number of issues that could prevent things from working exactly how you expect.

    To that end we've put together a little bit of a step-by-step troubleshooting guide to help go over some of the more common issues our support team has seen over the life of the product!

     

    If the Twingate Client is unable to join the Twingate network

    1. Make sure the Twingate Network Interface exists
    2. (Windows Only) Make sure the Twingate Network Interface is enabled
    3. (Windows Only) Make sure the Twingate Service is up and running
    4. Make sure the network you are on does not block outbound ports
    5. Make sure there are no incompatible clients or agents running alongside the Twingate Client
    6. Make sure the Device isn't in a region that might be blocking access to Twingate
        If the Problem Persists

    1. Check out the Knowledge Base for the Twingate Client.

    2. Collect the Twingate Client logs from the affected devices and share them with us.

     

    If the Twingate Client cannot connect to a Resource

    1. Check the Resource definition for consistency
    2. Check User permissions
    3. (Windows Only) Make sure your Domain Controllers are declared as Resources
    4. Check the Network Events for the Resource
    5. Check for Resource ambiguity
        If the Problem Persists
