Login to Chromebook fails with "Device Security not met"

Overview

When adding Biometric configuration as a criteria in Device Security Posture Checks for Chromebooks, these posture checks will fail with a message "Device Security not met".

Cause

This behavior is due to a limitation in the ChromeOS APIs related to biometric reporting. As a result, Twingate is currently unable to reliably validate biometrics configuration on ChromeOS devices.

There is no supported workaround available to use the biometric configuration device posture check for ChromeOS.
