Admin Console: Network Events Report is blank

Applicable to:

• Twingate Component: Admin Console

• Platform: macOS

Overview

When downloading a Network Events report via the Safari Browser, the report ends up being downloaded as an uncompressed file containing just the initial column headers but no data.

Any other browser returns the proper report in a .gzip format.

If a .gzip file is also blank from browsers other than Safari, it may be because the report has not been successfully generated.

Symptoms

• Generate a network analytics report for download

• Download in Safari (the report will not have an extension and only contain the CSV header line)

• Download in Chrome (the report will be gzipped with an extension and contain the events)

• Download in any non-Safari browser is blank

Resolution

• There is currently no resolution to this issue at this time. 

• Use another browser other then Safari

• Wait X minutes and try downloading again
